Hi, one thing has recently drawn my attention about left door of my F-Type.
Photo below. It's noticeable that it's not flush with the body, when closed.
Am I being paranoid or this is not OK ?
Does anybody have this? The thing is right door looks better
Mileage is 18K, and I'm the second owner.
That is not right.
But it should be an easy fix.
On the door jamb / B pillar is a U shaped latch (with a little kink in it), held on by two Torx T40 bolts.
Loosen those bolts off and push the latch in a tad, I guess about 2 mm in your case.
Tighten the bolts back up again, shut the door and check.
Rinse and repeat as needed until it is as good as you can get.

Thanks! But does it mean that the door was taken off for some reason?
My 2016, which I bought with 2000 miles on it, looks like that on both doors. My friend who is an auto body tech says that's the way they put them together at the factory. It should be relatively simple, as described above, to correct the gap.
Its not an f type if it hasn't gaps, I don't even know if they bother checking alignment sometime, from doors, bonnets, even the boot lid, its the norm, don't panic about it,

That headlight bonnet would be really cool if it wasn’t so damn ugly.
Both my doors looked like that and the bonnet needed aligning as well, when I purchased my most recent F Type. Took less than an hour for the bodyshop to make it right. I've read that it is a do it yourself fix. I took it in since it was recently purchased new.
