Default Idris Elba & David Beckham

Directed by Matthew Vaughan I believe (Layer Cake/Kick ***/X-Men etc).

Jag are certainly marketing the crap out of the brand now. Yay!

Great videos. It's just a shame that the "most technologically advanced Jaguar ever" broadly translates to "we've nearly caught up with pretty much everyone else"!

On the other hand, considering where they were coming from, that's a significant accomplishment. Now, we must await where they go now that they've nearly become competitive again.

I don't see jag on the Super Bowl ad lineup.

So no Jaguar ads...? That would be surprising considering just how successful last years ad was for them.

Nice Ads. Their agency is doing great work.
Unfortunately for Jaguar, as Tesla is proving, to disrupt a market you need more than great design and marketing today. Customer experience has gone on to matter so much more. Elon only has to tweet now about a software update and its all over the web and not a single highly paid celebrity is in sight. In fact the celebs buy Teslas versus being given them.
If Jaguar could spend just 5% of the cost of this campaign on improving its customer experience, then magic would happen.

Great videos. Heretical as it is, I think that vintage C-Type in the opening scene of the Beckham video is better looking than the vaunted E-Type.

Yes but to me the XK120 tops the C Type.

You might still see one. The network just hasn't listed it yet.

Yup. A lot of auto manufacturers are sitting this super bowl out.
Jaguar has confirmed it won't be airing commercials.
