Default interior trim piece removal and replacement

Anyone here ever remove and replace these Trim parts. If so can they be removed and replaced without taking the door panels and passenger divider
out?
Is there a trim removal tool used so you don't damage surrounding parts and leather?

I am thinking of replacing these if I can not get the stickiness to come off.

The 2 door bezels gray piece around the door handle and the lower grab handle trim(gray hockey stick shaped part) can be purchased for around $150.

Somebody here has to have done this as the sticky interior seems to be a big problem with these cars.

Also interested in how to remove the door handle bezel you're referring to.

I read somewhere that the center grab handle trim pictured is especially difficult and tedious to replace. I think the entire console and/or dash needs to come out. That one's probably not worth the trouble.

Ok so I am surprised nobody has responded to these questions. With all the talk of sticky interior issues, some DYI person has to had at least attempted this.

There is a nice video for removing the panels but I figured its best to ask if its requires panel removal to replace the bezels.

My interior is not real bad even though the car came originally from Florida then Maryland. I believe it was kept garaged both locations.

My understanding is the heat isn't the real issue but does contribute to the condition.

Already had to replace the start button that was very easy and $28 item. Overall most of the parts I have found online are reasonable cost. Which actually surprises me.

Any Jag techs out there that can answer these questions?

Remove the door panel and the switch pack/handle and that outer trim bezel just clips off.
See step 16 attached.

I can't find any instructions relating to the plastic insert on the grab handle in the centre console. As there are no screws it must be clipped in, so just pry it gently with a plastic trim tool and see if it comes off. If it resists it may be screwed from underneath.

This will solve your issue with the console grab handle. I have done all the interior trims except the gauges. It looks fantastic!

Thanks these look like they will match the carbon fiber shift bezel surround as well.

The trim piece around the oh **** handle or hockey stick just pushes right out. Push towards the gear shifter. Easy job. Next weekend I’ll be doing the door trim. The one I can seem to find instructions for removal is the bezel on the steering wheel. If anyone knows the removal process for that, it would be much appreciated.
