Default Mystery object...

While installing a battery for my Blackvue camera I came across a mystery electronic gadget with dip switches and a power switch in my passenger foot well compartment. I have some thoughts, but don't really know what it is. Any guesses?

Looks like the Power Magic Pro funnily enough for a Blackvue - did you buy your car new or could the previous owner have by coincidence also run a Blackvue ?

Thank you. I did purchase the car used and it was already setup for the Blackvue, just without cameras. I was adding the large battery pack when I found this. The odd thing is the car was giving me low battery notifications within 1 day of not driving it (I tried battery reset process with no luck) thus the reason I was adding the battery pack. Since I turned the power magic pro off I have not had an issue. I'll have to check into how it's wired and setup.

Yes, can't recall off hand but there are dip switch settings to avoid draining the battery dead by switching off the power to the Blackvue at a particular level, especially if you have motion detection set up on the camera. I killed my Land Rover battery a couple of times with that when it was parked on the street with the camera recording every car
