Default Wind deflector

Is a wind deflector worth getting? Can I just leave it in place all the time or can I not have it there if the top is up? If I remove it, does it fit in the trunk?

I leave mine in place all the time, top up or down. It doesn't get in the way at all.

If your weather is such that you'd be driving a lot with the top up, I'd take it off then. It does affect visibility through the back window some. I store mine for the winter, so I leave it on all the time. I haven't tried removing it, but with it on, you can have a normal conversation at highway speeds with the top down and the windows up. Doubt that would be possible without the deflector.

removal is easy just make sure you push down on the edge and then open the clip and it just slides out you can store it in the trunk no problem.

Has any one taken this off and on with any regularity? Would be interested in learning how to remove it and re-install, but only if it's easy.

I like mine on all the time because it deflects those ugly beaming lights at night that come from those competing muscle cars.

It is a one snap on each side removal and replacement jus push down on edge by snap to remove the snap or lock it

An automatic wind deflector would have increased the curb appeal to me even more...

...if that's even possible

Very easy on and off. I do find with the top up, it some what blocks your rear view mirror view. I like it with the top down alot.

Yeah, but those are rapidly diminishing.

Thanks for the feed back everyone. It is a $600 option here, and much less in the US. Think I might bring one back with me when I visit the US in April!
