We have created a new tool to give SDD engineering access. It is in its early phases, but is currently giving out the same passwords from the virus laden tool. Feel free to give it a test and feedback any issues, code is all open source. Big thanks to Jules for the doing the figuring out of the keys etc, I've done the easy part of converting to javascript and turning into an app.

Theres an executable for windows, mac and linux so choose your flavour!

You only need to download the correct one for your operating system (exe for windows, dmg for mac)

I have a Mongoose Pro and a JLR V164 SDD (no patch yet) and I want to use it fully for my 2007 jaguar x type (special functions, TOPIX, Engaging mode, etc.). Do you have a video explaining how to use the CCF TOOL and the JLR SEED CALCULATOR please? How long do the codes stay? Thank you

 

hello dear James ! it is very simple to use, you need to register a vin and a code, then generate a password, a password for the session, after completion you need to generate a password again, everything is simple))))

 

please write whether this calculator generates correct passwords for you? I personally do not, I found an old working calculator but with a virus

 

I was looking forward to being able to use this tool but unfortunately it wont install as it states it only works on X64 windows, however SDD works on X32? Any ideas?

Ive got a stupid question

how do I access the tool in sdd? I can get the password generator to generate a password I can get into SDD and enter the correct credentials but I don’t see anywhere that I can make any changes to the vid block or CCF? I have an 06STR and I believe that’s still uses the old vid block. Do I get no access because it’s trying to look for a CCF? Or tell me what you put in password it’s generated into the SDD section four opening up that tool does it just open up the tool or do I have to go to recommendations or options page or watt? I put the password in. Enter and it doesn’t look like anything changes. I’m using version 131 SDD .

I'm running SDD162.00. V347. Have installed the calculator and it generates the password, when I input the password in SDD it does not turns the yellow bar in the bottom, What am L doing wrong?

Are you using the Rhys's tools or the python code to generate the password and what model and age of car are you using it on?

Hello, I just wanted to post this on to the forum to give back to the community:

I searched for coded access keygen and didn't want to risk with downloading trojans to my machine. Finally I found python file from the same thread here. I did not know how to run this python code so I gave it to chatgpt and made javascript/html versions with GUI. It basically runs on all javascript enabled browsers locally.

Feel free to try this out, there are 2 html files in attachment. One which is xp compatible and should be better suited for older browsers etc.

It seems to be working correctly, but for some reason I think I still didn't get coded access to my car, I think I have problem with the Mongoose Pro+ OBD cable. So if it works on your system please leave feedback, thanks!

 

I just came across this post and noticed some of the questions might be answered in my post providing instructions for activating a rear park assist camera in SDD.
