I had assumed ( wrongly it seems ) that my 1965 mk2 was originally painted British Racing Green. The Heritage certificate came and says it was supplied with Dark Green paint and Tan upholstery. Does anyone know a current paint code for Dark Green or a modern equivalent color. I did find a reference online to a Jaguar color called Opalescent Dark Green but not sure if that is the same thing. Whats HFR thats the paint code on my 96 XJ

 

Should be Sherwood metallic , you have posted in MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler, however HFR is a 97/98 jaguar colour so hopefully your XJ is green !
