06 XJ8 Electrical problems
Good Morning Group, Im Steve. I live in NC and I own a 06 XJ8. Just recently the speakers on the drivers side of the car just barely make a sound, front and back. Passenger side speakers are fine. The window control knobs on the drivers side no longer illuminate. The over head lights do not work properly. If I attempt to turn on the lamp in the middle, both of the lights in the drivers and passengers foot compartments come on. The middle lamp never does come on. If I have one of the map reader lamps on, driver side or passenger, and turn the other one, all the lamps, both map lamps and the big center lamp all come on, but very dimly as if there is a short somewhere. And the passenger side front marker light does not work. Any ideas???
