Smile 1996 XJS 2+2 where can I buy a Blower Motor circuit board?

Hello, I'm repairing my 96 Jag XJS 2+2 right blower motor. I found a short in the circuit board. We believe it's the capacitor. Does anybody know where we might be able to purchase a circuit board or a capacitor? The capacitor has two bolts, one on each side. It has the following writing on it: MALAYSIA MJH016 0052. The Circuit board has the following identifying numbers: W962320D 000722. Thanks, jcuba53

Others might chime in but I'm not aware of the circuit board being available separately.

I rebuilt mine using components from on-line electronics vendors

Cheers

Welcome to the forum,

I'd take it to an electronics repair guy.

Hello Doug, do you remember what specific Power Transistor you used and the wattage? We're going to repair the circuit board and hope to find the parts at Fry's Electronics or Radio Shack. Where did you find your electronic parts?
Thanks,
Jorge

Allied Electronics or Radio Shack...can't remember. I just Google the part numbers that were on the parts themelves, as I recall.

Or Google "Darlington Transistor"

Cheers

Hello Doug, I'm new to this forum but realize that you have been answering and suggesting repairs for several years. Thanks for your continued faith that some of us actually benefit from your knowledge and generosity!

I haven't been able to locate a Power Transistor for the 96 XJS blower motor. I will keep looking. The problem is that I don't have the exact number from the transistor. I'll have to guess unless you can remember the wattage for this transistor. That would be helpful. I have also posted a tread regarding my continued effort to find a multiple misfire, Code P0300. The tread is: 1996 Jag XJS 2+2 Multiple Cylinder Misfire. If you have any time, can you please read it and take a shot at trouble shooting?

Sincerely,

Jorge Luis from San Diego
