2013 Jaguar XF Low Coolant Warning
Hi! I've only owned this car for 3 mths. It's not due for servicing for a couple of 1,000 miles. It has 56,000 miles on it. This morning as I backed out of the garage the Low Coolant message came on. We got the owners manual out & researched. Coolant was low. There have been no fluids on the garage floor. Drive just a couple of miles tp buy the premixed antifreeze. It took the whole gallon. Before closing the hood, noticed the level was way down again. Then saw coolant running ot from under it. Took it home & parked in the garage. Perplexed as to why it was low with no signs of leaks till at the auto store. Then, obviously, something have way with the fluid draining right out in the parking lot. Anyone have ideas? It's a Sunday, so I'll have ir towed tp thr dealership for repair tomorrow. I love the car & a.m balled as to what happened.
Welcome to the forums Carla,
Wise decision to park it up. Rapid coolant loss is likely to be one of the cooling system hoses failed.

Hello, Carla,
Rapid coolant loss is never a minor thing. Eventually it will become clear where it's all going. In the meantime, it wouldn't hurt to take it in early for service, mention your rapid coolant loss to Staff and let them find it.

welcome to the forum - although you have a nice low mileage car, at 7 years old it has been a garage queen. While there is nothing wrong, per se, the lack of use will cause seals/gaskets and hoses to dry rot leading to leaks. Easy to have the cooling system pressure tested and a good inspection for any other potential leaks. Get those fixed and you will certainly be able drive/enjoy for many happy motoring miles!!!! The forum is your new best friend and the best tool in an owners tool box. Enjoy
