Default AC vents Jag 2010 xf

Hello, I'm new to jaguar vehicles. I just purchased one 2 days ago and everything seemed fine. The AC was working perfectly fine, blowimg cold air through the vents.. however my husband started messing with the settings in an attempt to connect Bluetooth (which it doesn't have).
I'm wondering if he messed with the AC can't settings because I feel like air is coming out but through the dash like the defrost vent, and the bottom.
I already checked that the actual "defrost" buttons at the bottom are not on. I wonder if it's just that the ac no longer works so soon? Please help, I went to YouTube and couldn't find any videos on this.

Welcome to the forum Sresend,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

It will be a remarkable co-incidence if the AC has failed. It's more likely that the present climate control settings are preventing you feeling the desired level of cold air. Using the left and right temperature control buttons (2 and 3) to cycle from max hot to max cold with the blower speed knob (4) rotated clockwise will check if the AC is working.

Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
The last car I bought, I don't let my husband even Touch it because he does the same thing; mess with stuff until he breaks something. And then I get, "sorry about that" as he walks away.

Someone will be along shortly to direct you to the correct section where members who drive your model can help you fix all the stuff your husband messed with.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
