Another Newbie
I just joined the forum today. I am always looking for answers....where to get this or that.....how to do this or that......
I am the very proud owner of a 1995 White XJS 2+2 Convertible and a 1994 White XJS Coupe. I LOVE Jaguars. Since I first drooled over the XKE in high school, I have be in total LOVE. To date I have had five XJSs, owning three of them up until about a year ago. In my mind, they are the most stylish car ever designed and I do enjoy the comments I get at the gas station from the other envious drivers out there.
I try to do a lot of my own maintenance work and the fix-it type stuff that a blonde woman can do. I am lucky to have found a good mechanic who isn't afraid to tackle the big items on my cars.
I live out in the East Mountains out of Albuquerque, where Jags are still kind of rare. I occasionally have had some wild creatures move into my engine compartments when I wasn't looking, worst of which was a big rat who built a lovely next right on my engine block of my first dead jag. Unfortunately, he brought with him big chunks of cactus which was a nightmare to clean out.
I am delighted to be in the midst of such a fine, upstanding group of jag owners and admirers. I thank you all in advance for your kindness and patience with me as I work on my various jag issues.
