Default Big Hello from Staten Island, NY!

Greetings everyone, I'm a 1st time Jaguar owner of a 2004 XJ8 (purchased Dec2020 w/ 90K miles, bought from 2nd owner, garage kept. Zircon Blue). I've owned mostly American all my life, muscle cars, commuters, pickup Trucks, SUVs, etc. Recently added 2 Porsches to the stable. I've always loved the look on the XJ8s and so far loving the car.

The car came with 1) Parking Brake Fault: fixed 2) heat coming out weak; was love coolant 3) headliner needs to be redone; found a shop and was quoted $350 4) purchased new tires.
I'm still have a slow RPM surge/desurge(is that a word lol) from 1400-1600 rom when on the highway and a few other minor things. I've been loving the forum and learned a LOT about the car. I do all the work myself.

Nice to meet everyone.
Mike
