Compressor Wiring Harness
I'm trying to find a compressor wiring harness (DAC1408) for an XJ6 Series 3 (1984) 4.2 liter. I've tried Welsh enterprises, Britishwiring.com, Ebay, EverydayXJ and found nothing. A used part in good condition would be great. Does anyone know if there's a way to fabricate this part? Any help would be awesome.

I'm a bit surprised that EverydayXJ.com doesn't have this part! There must be a great need for it!
Anyway, I'll look for you over in our Xj6 section where Graham has directed you.

Fabricating a functional equivalent would be easy. Duplicating the original exactly would be more difficult. Finding the connector for the 3-prong thermal fuse might be a problem

Or maybe not....

And here's the compressor connector

Now you'll just need to find the pin connector and boot for the superheat switch at the rear of the compressor

I found a used one at Jagbits. Never found a new one. Seems like someone should make this part, since the AC will not run otherwise. I bought an AC upgrade kit for $1000. Even the owner didn't know where to get the AC compressor wiring harness.
Lack of demand, no doubt.
It's a very simple harness. Unless absolute factory correctness is desired, the fastest, easiest fix is to simply make a new one yourself or repair the old one...which I suspect most people do.
