Greetings all, my first post to say hello from Utah!
This week I picked up my 1981 Jaguar XJ6 for sale locally. It certainly caught my eye due to the 383 stroker engine w/TH350 trans that was done previously. Not pristine by any means, but I feel the car will be a lot of fun! I've spent the last few days doing a baseline cleaning and detail (paint correction), and am starting to put together my list of items needed (some parts already purchased online). A few issues to sort through (main one now being the steering rack leak, i'll post a Q in the tech section shortly), but that's to be expected with an older car.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/ to find other members in your region.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Hello, Johnny,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
That looks to be a very tidy conversion job!
I'll look for you over in our Xj6 Series playroom where Graham has directed you.
