Hello all
Hey guys,
im excited to be a part of this community on here! I was a proud owner of a 1996 XJ6 for 4 years, but I had to get rid of it because of the climate I live in! I drove it for 3 winters in Syracuse, New York. Yes I know how crazy was I, and for how great of a car it is, it wasn’t good in the snow haha. Now I’m looking into buying a 1999 XJR. This car is beautiful, but it will not turn over. It sounds like it wants to, but it does not! Pecus R is the code, and I read that was the rear control module of the back window. Does this prevent the car from starting? I don’t think it does but I could be wrong. Well that’s about it, thanks for your time!

I'm sorry you felt forced to get rid of your previous Jaguar, they weren't born in snow country, ya know, they simply don't know how to behave. I hope you have better success with your new Jaguar.

I can see you've already found your way to the X308 forum with the non start issue so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
