Default Hello from the Blankenship family

Hello to all from the Blankenships. We are new to the forums but not to the love of Jaguars and other cars as far as that goes. We have been the proud owners of a silver/black 2000 3.0 S-Type for about 6 years now, and have just purchased a seafrost/oatmeal 2006 XJ8. The S-Type has been an awesome car and has been my wife's DD. With 137,000 miles on the clock we decided it was time for a lower mileage cat. The wife has become very spoiled to the Jaguars and it took some time for us to find the perfect cat with the options she demanded. Funny how quickly a woman can become addicted to a warm tushy!

We live in north Alabama and are a family of car lovers. In the stable we have a wide variety of rare and exotic vehicles. In addition to the two Jags we have a 1962 Nova convertible, 1978 Porsche 911SC, 1978 Triumph Spitefire, 1980 MGB, 1984 Porsche Carrera, 1986 Mustang SVO, 1992 Ford Bronco, 1995 Jeep Wrangler, and a 1997 Ford conversion van. I do most of my own maintenance with the exception of paint/body work. All of my cars have been properly restored and maintained. We also enjoy camping and do so in a restored 1973 24' Airstream Argosy.

We are looking forward to scouring over the forums and meeting/chatting some like minded people.

Welcome, Blankenships!

What an interesting collection of vehicles! My first car was a '68 Triumph Spitfire and my second car was a '69 MGB, and I wish I still owned them both. One of our current vehicles is an '04 XJR, so I'll be seeing you at the X350 forum.

Cheers,

Don
