Now retired I'm able to spend as much time as possible in 'my playroom' restoring a couple of my life long loves namely a LHD 3.4 drum braked, mk 1 Jaguar that I won on Bring a Trailer.com all the way from Canada. With just 56k miles from new after many years in storage. Its BRG with tan interior, manual overdrive and is presently completely separated. The body is being corrected by a local metal magician. Very little corrosion but we are correcting a very old repair to the front. Whilst in the shop I'm presently restoring a Mk 2 front subframe and will convert the braking system to Discs. I'm keeping the rear Mk 1 axle but will fit mk 2 steel wheels and a spacer to widen the rear track. It is my intention to fit some full rear spats.
