Default Hello from Pasadena, Maryland

Hi, I signed up about a month ago but have just been lurking. I'm REALLY impressed with all of the expertise and willing assistance that I have found here. I just bought a 2004 Jaguar XJ8 and love it. All of the cars that I have ever owned or worked on were either U.S. or Japanese. My first task was to wade through the owner's manual. This thing has more "bells and whistles" than I have ever seen in a car. Just the section on locking and unlocking was an education in itself. It will be quite a while before I am able to offer any (useful) advice to anyone. I foresee a pretty nasty learning curve on this beautiful piece of British engineering.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to picking your brains. :-)

Welcome to the forum denajohn,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X350 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Mid Atlantic Region forum by following this link US Mid Atlantic - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello,
Don't despair, many of us if not Most have encountered that learning curve, but it's a CURVE and not a CLIFF! As you're already familiar with the major principles of automotive operation you'll get the hang of British Eccentricities in no time.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
