Default Hello From Preston UK

Hello my name is Marc and I am a new member to the forum, and if I get the right car to restore will do a blog on it.
I have a few cars and have over the last few years come to find forums a fantastic way to find out things and help others as well.
I have a normal job, but my love is restoring cars and I have a understanding wife that lets me go to my garage at 6.30 most week nights to till 10.30 4 days a week to get my restos done, and over the last two years I have done two ground up restos a VW T2 Camper and a Daimler Dart.
My cars to date are
VW T2 Camper 1978
http://thelatebay.com/index.php?threads/1978-danbury.16229/
Daimler Dart 1960
http://www.dlcentre.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=14299
Sunbeam Alpine mk3 (forgot year)
Hillman Tilly – second world war
Rolls Royce 20/25 – 1937
Porsche 996 turbo 2000
BMW 2002 tii (great car – highly recommended)
BMW Z3M
Austin Healy Mk3 3000
Morris 8
I am looking for a XK 140- 150 to restore for my next venture, but prices are all over the place, so it’s proving a bit difficult getting it right.
All the best

Marc

Welcome to the forum Marc,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

XK140/150 prices may be all over the place but unfortunately the cars are becoming scarcer.

Follow this link XK120 XK140 XK150 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK120/140/150 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the UK Region forum by following this link UK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in this country.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello & welcome , Love the idea of the Hillman Tilly & the Beemer 2002 . Years ago , when I was a junior Jag salesman , I remember 2 PX's A Jowett Javelin & a Jowett Jupiter .Classics we don't hear of much these days . I had the pleasure of tooling around in them for a couple of days... ( 1960's )
