hello from Princeton NJ
Hello
i got a 96 xjs 4.0 convertible as a virus project this summer...after several months its running great and cant believe what a great car this is
as a previous e type owner i was prejudiced against the xjs for years,,,very glad i made the switch!
while i have done all the work on my own so far, i will be looking for recommendations on a good local mechanic, any advise?

Welcome to the forums dmscheckel,
Good to have you with us.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
