Hi from Hilversum, Holland
My name is Tjerk. Unpronounceable for English speaking people and slightly embarassing as well thanks to the last for letters, so I respond to TJ as well. I am new to this forum. I own an S type from 1999, currently in the shop after an accident. That one is for shopping and moving objects and people around. My main car is a silver XK 4.2 from 2003. It only seats 2 and has a tiny boot, but it is a dream to drive in. Looking forward to talking Jag on this forum!
Welcome to the forum Tjerk,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. The "j" must be pronounced like a "y" .....?
I know you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham

Hello, TJ,
My husband has Norwegian family, some of whose names are indeed unpronounceable in English. So much so that when they came to the US, most of them adopted a nick name. So I get it.
I'm sorry to read how your S-type was involved in an accident but at least you have a back-up Jaguar.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

From one S-type owner to another... Welcome. I hope your Jaguar is back in operation soon! The S-type forum is populated with a very friendly group and contains a wealth of knowledge. Enjoy!

Thank you. I'm just waiting for a second hand right headlight. Nearly bought one from a UK company, but somebody pointed out to me that headlights from a righ hand drive point in the opposite direction to continental models, so I cancelled at the last minute. Just found one here in Holland, so I should be okay.
