Hi, X350 from Sydney
Hi, my name is Andrew and I'm the owner of a 2005 XJ8 from Sydney Australia. This is my second XJ8, my previous being a 1998 X308 I purchased in 2006. The current X350 Jag was purchased in 2016 and has been my daily drive since.
The car is mostly original, however, I have retrofitted an OEM Bluetooth handsfree phone kit to replace the original GSM phone. I have also added a Bluetooth FM modulator so that I can get music off my phone.
Which brings me to one of the reasons I wanted to join the forums. I have been intrigued by the Android integration activities on the forums and decide to take the plunge and see if I can improve the stock Jag system. I have just invested in another OEM headend unit to help with starting the project.
Anyway, I have finally joined,as opposed to "lurking" around and hope to share and gain some more knowledge.
