Hello All: I own a 1988 XJ6. I've had it since 1989. Always wanted one and can remember as a kid my doctor driving his XKE (probably had it int he shop more than he drove it). I only have 130,000 miles on it and its been pampered. It's been restored once - OK twice but don't tell my wife. I've always loved the ride even after the air bags came out of the rear suspension. I live in Iowa now which is a perfect place to own a Jag (assuming your OK not driving it Dec - Mar). I've always been excited about driving 80 in 50 on winding roads (Hope there are no police reading this) Perhaps the only thing I dislike is the electrical system. I suppose I have to remember it's an '88. I don't do much work on it myself except interior repairs. The engine compartment is just too over my head. Thank you for accepting me into the group.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
