INTRO and problem and with service light reset on XK

INTRO and problem and with service light reset on XK
My 2012 XK service light came on after disconnecting battery to charge it, I've reset before without problem but this time it just sits on resetting service light for 3 or 4 minutes then I give up. I have read previous post regarding to the trip counter to vehicle speed but that didn't help.Any other suggestions out there?

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
