Introduction
Hello
I am a new member, signed up just yesterday. I currently own a 2008 Jaguar XJR in Black with cream interior and American Walnut trim. I have previously owned two XJ's both 2.7 diesel Sovereigns. I part exchanged the last of these for a Mercedes CLS 350D which I still own and run as may daily driver.
The XJR was a real find - one owner and less than 24,000 miles on the clock - the seller was really great - particularly when I could not get my bank to release funds for the purchase - they thought I was being scammed!!! The car was in great condition when I bought it but I have been tidying up some bits and pieces which drew me to this forum.
I am now (almost) retired, I do a few days per month as a consultant - I was a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and spent the latter years of my career as a Commercial Manager/Director and Commercial Management Consultant. I live just outside Manchester, UK.
Hope that's enough of an intro, I look forward to benefitting from the expertise and experience of the membership and hope to contribute where I can.

I hope you will start a thread in the X350/X358 forum and post some photos of your extremely low-mileage car!
