Default New as of 11-2021

Hi everyone!
I purchased my 2015 F-Type R Coupe on November 1st of last year, and aside from no manual option for the V8, I love it!
Initially, practicality was a concern. Nearly all of my previous cars had either been FWD or AWD, which left me with no concerns in winter weather.
In late 2015 I bought my first dream car, a 2015 Nissan 370Z Nismo Tech RWD 6MT!! Loved my Z, and with winter tires, she was able to handle anything below 2" of snow (when possible, weather doesn't stop me from enjoying my cars).
Along with the wife's AWD SUV, my practicality concerns were moot! So, I began looking for an F-Type around late summer of last year, and lucked into the one I purchased in November.
I decided to sell the Z (with 49k miles, I was just $3k shy of what I'd paid for her) and get the F-Type.

A few days after driving her home, I ran into the lower coolant pipe issue. This forum provided nearly everything I needed to do the work! Along with my local dealership, I was able to complete this repair with little issue! Many thanks Jaguar community!!!

Many thanks!!

This community provided a wealth of research for the repair, as well as what common issues to expect from the brand. It was a huge part of my purchasing decision.
I'm by no means a professional mechanic, but I enjoy doing my own work! So much so, that it's become a personal requirement when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. If I can't wrench on it (proprietary tools), then I don't buy it!
Sadly, that leaves quite a few desired cars off the table for me. However, I'll fully enjoy what I have!

BTW, my local dealership's shop manager actually offered me a job, as he was impressed that I was willing to take on the task without past experience!
