New 1st Gen XKR Owner in MI
About 2 months ago I bought a 2000 XKR Convertible in Carnival Red. I used this forum over the last year or so to research XKs and found the nikasil/timing chain tensioners/top/etc information invaluable. I'm a die hard DIY kind of person, mostly because I like knowing that it was done correctly, with quality parts and for less money. It also allows my cheap self to own nicer cars without suffering as much on the ol' wallet. lol
I also own a 1987 Corvette Convertible (I'm also 80sRule on CorvetteForum), a 1995 Suzuki GSXR1100W (80sRule on gixxer.com) and a 1975 Honda CB750.
Also wondering if there are any younger people on here with Jags? I'm 23 and don't know a single person with one, regardless of age.

Welcome to the forum 80sRule at least your are consistent.
We have some younger members and I think I must qualify somehow. I'm twice your age but I have 2 XJ40's so I can divide by two. yea yea.

I like when forums are focused around performing your own repairs, making your own tools (rather than getting scalped like I do for my daily driver e38 BMW) and getting things done. This forum seems to be that way and I like it.
