New Buyer in SoCal
Never thought I'd be able to find a Jag that could still function in my price range. Found a beautiful '97 XK8 just last week and scooped her up. She needs a little love, but she's a great ride. Happy to have found that car and this forum!

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. Pay particular attention to the three weaknesses on the XK8:
1. plastic tensioners
2. cooling system - plastic components
3. transmission fluid - change to prolong life
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Are you going to join us at the Queen's English Car Show at Woodley Park later this month? A lot of us forum members will be there with our Jags as well as hundreds of other cars from every British marque. Hope to see you there, it's a great show!
