Welcome from another French member, unfortunately nearly 600 km away.
I think there are 50-odd members in France and we talk from time to time about a get together but 'organize' and 'French' aren't words that go together well, unlike 'Michelle' and 'Ma Belle'.
Having said that the SNCF runs like clockwork (when you're not en grève)

Bienvenue Alex.

I'm about 1100km due West of you.

Got to say, can't fault the rail service, always on time, and clean. Thanks.

If ever you are out my way over the Summer, you might want to check our mainline steam service.

La Vapeur du Trieux, great scenery, and locations.

Good to have you with us.

Hello again Alex,

It's been a while. You've been spending too much time driving trains and not enough driving your X-Type!

Looks good and no sign of stone chips. The front of my XK8 always gets plenty on French roads ( ) although I love driving in your country.

Is that a small dent in the LH front wing or just a reflection?

Graham

Oh dear, the engine bay needs a good scrub...

No just kidding...very nice car Alex. What have you done to the stereo?

If you've got time why not stop by the Europe section (see link in my signature) as Steve already mentioned we should look at a get together for the French members...

hello, yes, there is a dent on the wing, and on every part of the body in fact, the car isn't in an outstanding condition... I drive it every day, it's a good car. I've done some little work since I bought it, oil change, filters, 4 new wheels, i'll keep the original ones for winter tyres. I changed the stereo because I wanted mp3 and bluetooth hands free My next (and I think last) change, will be a HID kit, I already got it, all I need is to take time to do it, I've some work on my others cars.
