Hey all,

Very happy to have found this forum. I have my eye on a 2001 XK8 that has been well cared for. 2 previous owners. Under 100K miles. Coupe with standard shocks. Last service was at 50K. Everything looks good. Body very good with a couple of door dings. Rear tires need changing. Brake pads too. Engine sounds smooth and no strange noises, I'll have the timing chain replaced along with alum adjusters if the dealer will do this for me.

I hope to have this car in a few days. Looking forward to working on it with a lot of help from this forum!
