Default New Jag Owner - '85 XJS H.E.

Greetings!

Full disclosure up front, I came across my beautiful Jag while looking for a V8 swap project car. Had no real intention of trying to revive the mighty V12. Needless to say, my plans have changed...

Interior is pristine and body is straight and rust free. Motor cranks but won't fire. Previous owner gave up and I got it extremely cheap. Now I am determined to bring it back to life in original trim, so here I am.

Looking forward to utilizing the wealth of information already here and reaching out when stuck.

Regards,

DS

Welcome to the forum Hobejam,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

A challenge but there's nothing like a Jaguar V12 when it is running right. Follow this link
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xjs-x27-32/ to the XJS forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-western-38/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
