Default New to Jaguar After Owning Several Infiniti/Lexus

Hello everyone. I've been driving Lexus and Infiniti for the last 15 years. Recently bought a 2008 XJ Vanden Plas with 55k miles. Beautiful car (Radiance) exterior, very plush inside. Factory chrome Sabre wheels. Having a few concerns regarding maintenance repair costs. In the first month of ownership, I have had both front air shocks replaced, left rear wheel bearing replaced, a 225.00 alignment. Took it to a shop yesterday for balancing/rotation on the Hunter Road Force and was told I need front lower control arms. Starting to have some doubts about my purchase. Hoping to get through some initial repairs and start enjoying the car. All the best.

Default Front Lower Control Arms

Since I am new to Jaguar Forums, I guess I have to wait a while before I can send a PM. My research indicates that "Brutal" can provide front lower control arms for a 2008 XJ VDP at a the best price around. Once I can send a PM, I will try to contact him unless one of you seasoned veterans can reach out to him and let him know that I am trying to get in touch. Thanks.
