Hello, my name is steven and i am joining the jaguar family. I purchased my first jaguar a couple of months ago. A got an used 2004 xj8. Love the car. It had 136600 miles on it and i stuck my neck out and purchased it from a dealer who buys at auctions. Never know what your getting in that situation.

I have a company vechile so i only drive the jag on weekends and have yet to log a 1,000 miles. Yes i discovered the forum after having some problems.

The check engine light came on, p071 & p074. Hopefully i have that problem solved. Well don't want to rant on just wanted to introduce myself. I live in north texas and have all my life. The jaguar is a 2004 xj8, black with grey interior and still looks great with 137.000 miles.

I had washed and detailed the garage dust off last weekend and gone to the gas station. I young man in his twenties next to me said he sure did like the car. He could not believe it was ten years old. He thought it was new.
