Hello everyone,
New member from San Diego, California. I don't own a Jaguar but it will be my next significant purchase! I fell in love with Jaguars back in 2001 when my dad purchased a 1991 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign. When I turned sixteen, it became my first car. I fell in love! Ever since I've wanted to buy a jag for myself, but circumstance hasn't allowed it until now, due to a much deserved raise at work!
I've been reading the forums for over a year thought it best to finally sign up as I hope to become a Jaguar owner in the next 6 months.
My favorite Jags: XJ8 100 (especially XJR) and the XKR 100 series.
What I hope to buy: 2006 Victory Edition XKR Coupe

Welcome, Matthew, and happy hunting! At least, in San Diego, you are far more likely to find a nice XK8/R nearby than I was when I was searching for mine, a couple of years ago. This forum was a great help to me (among other things, narrowing my search to 2003-06 models). Wanting a coupe made my search a lot more challenging, as did my narrow choice of colors. I eventually found mine in Portland, OR and love it.
