Hi,

Just joined the Forum. I have a 98 Jaguar XJR in white with XK8 wheels. Forum has been useful in identifying how to fix the bonnet cable (accessing via the inner guard), low coolant warning light (air pocket in cooling system resolved by squeezing top hose) and annoying rattle in near side rear suspension (worn upper shock absorber bushes).

Apart from that, a pretty fast Cat.

Grant

Hey Grant,

Wondering if you could recommend a good Jag mechanic in BNE?

HI
I recommend RC Grieve in Ascot. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I just sold my XJR (I moved back to Sydney). I've got to say that I will NEVER take a Jag to a dealership again. You might as well give them a shotgun and balaclava....it's the same thing!

Good luck with your car. Jag ownership can certainly test your commitment...

LOL, thanks! To be honest, I'm rethinking my impending purchase... The forum has put the fear of God through me!

Thanks so mug or the recommendation, I will certainly use them if the kitty comes home
