Good afternoon members,

I'm new to both Jaguar Forums and Jaguar motor cars and want to introduce myself and say hi to everyone. Though I use the screen name hobbs my name is Mike and I live in Southern California with my two children. I'm retired from the movie industry and spend the bulk of my time trying to get my children a good start to their lives.

As for my ride, I just purchased my first Jaguar, a 2004 X-type 3.0 AWD, with 45,000 original miles and all of the service records. I'm very happy with my "new" car and thought it would help me understand my car better if I had access to other owners and their experiences.

I look forward to future talks and appreciate the sharing of knowledge regarding the x-type.

Cheers,
-hobbs
