Hello, my name is Hanno from Germany.
Im new to the Jaguar Forum. Last week I have bought an XJ from 2003 with approx. 100k miles on the odometer.
Acutally Im working on the aluminium corrosion, which happened on a few places on the outer chassis (doors etc.).
Next step leveling the air suspension. I could get it awak again by manually lifting up one damper. After this, alle came up again automatically.
Only the one which was now more up than the others, has now a too high height, so the calibration will take effect.
Next step: Electrification! The engine has to go out of the car and the electric drive train will take place.
The gasoline engine is running very well, but the electrification is the goal.
In my opinion it's the last classic XJ with the most modern technique and with the electric drive train it's the perfect new age car.
