New Member looking at an XJ6
Hey guys im going to take a look at a 92 xj6. I found a terrible craigslist post and think it may be a good deal. Seller says car has a 6cyl and a misfire. He said he knows nothing about cars and didnt want to fix it but was driving it untill it gave out. I was wondering if anyone had a common issues list that i could work off of. I havent bought a pre obd2 car in 10 years but am looking for a spare cruizer/dd to have.

This is the way with So many cars! Lazy owners who drive them to Death with No Maintenance, love or attention. You should get it for a song and sing it yourself!
1992 might be an Xj40. Someone will be along shortly to direct you to the correct section where you can find all sorts of help (which you'll doubtless need) to get your cat on the road again.

A 1992 XJ6 is one of four different models Jaguar named XJ6 between 1968 and 2009. It is better known as the XJ40 even though you won't find that badge on the back!
