Hi , I'm Mark, from Devon UK. I'm doing the clutch on my 3.0 v6 and noticed I need a new crankshaft end seal. Euro dont stock it, Jag can't get one till sat. Am I correct in saying the Ford ST220 uses the same bottom end, and might have luck with Ford?

Welcome to the forum Mark,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums and to see you found the anser to your own question.

If I've identified the correct seal, Jaguar Classic (part of JLR) list a superseded P/N:

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thank you. It was the rear seal on the transmission end. But thanks.

I've posted a reply to my own post in the xtype section and it said wait for it to be approved. It's been a few hours now. Thought I'd try here and see if it works, if it does could someone let me know if there is a problem as I'd need to write it all out again. Thanks.
