Hello, this is Mel from Knoxville, Tennessee and I just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. I just bought a 2000 XK8. It is a white convertible and currently has 64,000 miles on the odometer. I bought it from an older gentleman and the car is in excellent condition. I've always been a huge fan of British machinery as I also own a 1970 Triumph 650 motorcycle and a 1970 BSA 650 motorcycle. I am planning on doing as much of the maintenance and repairs on the XK8 as I can but of course it's much more technically advanced than the 2 vintage motorcycles that I restored. I previously owned a 2012 Jaguar XF that I bought new and a 1966 Austin Healey Sprite that I restored. I'm looking forward to using the forum to draw from the vast knowledge of the members. Hopefully I can contribute some knowledge and experiences of my own in the future.
