new member- trying to identify & source auto transmission switch Mk2
Hi, I am new to this forum and a first time new owner (12 months) of a 1962 MK2 3.4 RHD. I have had it lovingly restored inside and out and am looking for some information about the auto transmission switch that has a leak. It has a bakelite end on it and hasn't been removed yet as we haven't been able to locate a replacement. Located in Australia I have exhausted local 'expertise' and the parts suppliers (Aust & England) haven't seen one like this. Any information greatly appreciated and better still, where I can find a replacement. Thanks in advance. switch on the transmission

Welcome. The members of the MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler Forum are a very sharp group. As indicated above, ask there and I suspect an answer will be forthcoming.
Hi, I have added my car details and contacted a suggested company (Welsh) as supplied by another member. I was surprised by the quick responses and how many in such a short time. Great forum, and I look forward to many more discussions. Lynne
