Currently driving an Audi S5 and looking to purchase my first Jag.
Difficult to find low mileage 2016-18 F-Type R in Sapphire Blue or British Racing Green.
Hoping members here can help me in my search and add to my enjoyment of ownership when I find one.

Hello,
You might have a hard time finding a Low Mileage example of any color. People who drive F-types usually really like them and drive them quite a lot. You might have to widen your search far afield.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Thank you for the advice. I’m open to shopping in from out of state if it’s good mileage and green or blue!

So my Audi has got to 164,000 miles and 60 track days without major issue. Can I expect that from an F-Type R?
Not too many examples of discussions the other side of 100,000 miles.

Welcome to the forums clarets,

The current shade of BRG was introduced on the X150 and the F-Type in 2014 but few original buyers specified green and they represent a very small proportion of the production. Although the colour has been available on other models for a few years, I've rarely seen another recent green Jaguar whilst driving my BRG X150. Most F-Type owners like loud exhausts and loud colours. You may find Sapphire Blue is also quite rare.

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. You can also use the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums and good luck with the search.

Graham

Is there a breakdown of the colors for the F—Type anywhere on the forum?

A frequently asked question about all models. Jaguar do release production numbers by year and specification but have never released this categorised by colour.

So we are left to guess what % of each color is out there?

Effectively - YES.

From time to time the media make "guestimates" so you may find relevant press articles but this won't be supported by actual figures from JLR. I recall many years ago seeing a colour breakdown from Jaguar North America for XK8's imported to the US but this was never repeated.
