Hallo, I'm on my 2nd Jaguar, this time its a X350 (3.6l XJ8 in Platinum). Its a Japanese import now, I suppose, since it was exported to Japan in 2004 and has returned to the mother country. It has 30,000 miles on the clock and I'll probably only add 5k annually. Being spec'd for Japan, it has a different lower part of the boot lid from UK market cars. A smaller recess for the number plate. I've changed the front plate bracket to a UK shape. Of course the TV system doesn't work here, and the radio was useless until it changed out for UK FM band. I've removed the manual flare from its bracket in the passenger foot well. I wonder if it will last until 5th Nov.

However I've taken to it well since my previous car was a 2004 S-Type (2.5l JRG). The XJ8 feels much tighter than the S-Type although they're both 2004 cars. Maybe something to do with the 130,000 miles on the S-Type. The S-Type visited F, ES, I, D, Pl, Cz, B, NL and Orkney.

I'm hoping not to be posting for help. My first challenge is a leaking rear air suspension unit. But Hey, That's an easy swap, isn't it?

Welcome to the forum Zander,

It's you who should be 'welcoming' me as you've been a member here for one month longer.

That's how I missed your first Intro in November 2011:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...-member-64236/

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
