Default New in Michigan

Greetings from the Wolverine State! I finally did it! Nearly 40 years after that green XKE beckoned to me from the corner lot I bought a Jaguar. A blue 2000 XK8 convertable to be exact. What a beautiful machine! 58k on the clock, one owner and well maintained.

I had haunted this forum for weeks reading all the issues but bought it anyway. It beckoned! Tell me I didn't lose my mind.

Welcome to the forum. You definitely did not lose your mind (no more than the rest of us, anyway ).

Sounds like you got a sweet one and will have lots of fun and few problems.

Welcome,

Enjoy the car, remember most people come here with a problem, you don't hear the good stuff so much.

Thanks for the welcome White and Mods. The Xk8 is for the "boss" I owed her a convertable and the Jag was the "one". Havibg coexisted with a "66 MGB and Triumph Bonneville things "British" are not so much of a surprize> We (iget the valet key) are looking forward to our new adventure.

Thanks Jim for the update. If I can figure out pics I'll see if I can post. Got lots of stories 'bout the MG I'll share sometime on the "other" car thread.
