Default New XK Owner Checking In

Hello - I have just taken ownership of a 2007(Nov) XK 4.2 convertible from its 92 year old previous owner. Low mileage and in good overall condition it has a great colour combination of metallic grey and ivory upholstery. I have owned modern Jags (mainly XF’s) for 20 years or so - but retired a couple of weeks ago so thought I’d get the XK to potter about in! Very happy with it - it goes into my local Jag specialist for a service next week and to sort the aircon which is not working - and to replace the front right pedestrian system sensor which has failed. Looking forward to engaging the forum to find out more about the marque and any of its foibles!
