New to the forum scene, have owned two x types. first was a 2005 with 135,xxx for a steal. my current x type is a 2003 with 110,xxx miles. Smoke grey with black leather interior. has the sport package with moon roof and 17" rims. I have replaced all spark plugs, manifold gaskets, oil, oil filter, both upper and lower chrome mesh grills. k&n air filter, coolant reservoir, a few odd hoses, and added matching smoke grey jaguar center caps in my rims(came with green).

I often find others have had the same problem(s) with their x type as I do. So my main reason for joining is for your expertise (yes you). Any constructive criticism or advice is most appreciated. I have posted my question under x type in the forums. Please, help me get my baby home. Thank you for your time.

You have put a lot of work into the X-Type so far. I hope the present issue is soon resolved.

I know you have already found your way to the X-Type tech section so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
