Newbie! 1994 Jaguar XJ6
Bought this in December of 2015. It had been sitting up for quite a while but I bought it from a dealer, so they had done a LITTLE basic work to it. Late in 2016, it stopped running. As you guys know, it's hard as hell to get parts for a model of this age so my mechanic decided to change the entire fuel system out as a work around for replacing a pressurized line that simply couldn't be found. So now we're trying to work out the final kinks.
I've always wanted a Jag. I heard a lot about how finicky they can be but that's no biggie. Just a stately looking automobile. Once I get these finals kinks worked out, I look forward to having a LOT of fun behind the wheel again!

Welcome to the forum leroywatsonjr,
(I've closed your duplicated thread in XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum)
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJ40 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...rn-midwest-67/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
