Default Spinning Wheels in Vegas

Hello All,

I found this JaguarForum months ago and have been reading up and comparing issues without going through all the steps of becoming a member.

I drove a Jag XJ8 while car shopping a year ago and instantly that was the ONLY type of car I would look at.

My 13 year old son found my car on Cr****list. My ‘05 Vanden Plas (XJ8L VDP) we call "Queen Elizabeth" with 74,000 miles. Luckily the previous owner was a very honest man who felt he had to sell me his gorgeous garage kept pristine automobile for Poor Trade in Value when the KBB retail value was $18.5K+. His reason was years before his purchase it had been in an accident, rebuilt and then recertified by California. He had posted the damaged car photos also when he went to sell her. Luckily that confused potential buyers. The mechanics say they can't tell. It looks great! I saved over $10K. Nevada DMV didn't care about her history and taxed me on the original depreciated value anyway, ouch!

Talk again soon,

Gina and "Queen Elizabeth" ‘05 Vanden Plas (XJ8L VDP)

It is nice to think Jaguar people are associated with honesty. That's where I want to be.

Sorry all for repeated posting - I clearly don't know just what I am doing in regard to computer Forums. Everyone has been extremely helpful. I was in poor health so I have not been online. I want to get caught up in the member area and garage area, too. Today I need specific help so I'll look for a thread.
Thanks again,
Gina Anderson

Gina,

Don't worry about the duplicated posts - we expect to see mistakes in the Intro threads as new members get used to the forum.

Sorry to hear you have been in poor health. I hope you are well again now.

Graham
