Default XKR - New Owner Arranging Import and nec prep

Hello All,

I have spent the 2 weeks since my lease return of my C4S, seeking, researching lease of FTYPE....That road took me to purchase of XKR.....

I placed a deposit on a 2014 in palm springs and that night (friday) I celebrated by engaging and purchasing a 2009 at auction.

As I arrange import I seek the general (and not so general) wisdom of the membership to advise on mech prep to keep in mind, and the fun part accessories and necessary tech and mods to bring her to date.

I intend to wrap but not certain till we meet. I see write ups on jagdroids and such but is the 2009 tech and screen in need of mod and replacement for easy wifi and connect. The mina hood vents look great, and new mats etc a must.

Any advice on tech, mods both performance, looks and preventative maintenance would he hugely appreciated. I have been leasing from day one. Never owned let alone an off warranty car. I am located in Toronto so hello to all local and non members. I'm not one to take without giving but as a jag newbie all I can do is $$ and encourage our vendors!

Thanks all and look forward to all

Welcome to the Forums.

I always strongly recommend changing ALL, and I mean ALL the fluids, from day 1 of ownership, no matter what the PO states etc etc.

Good luck.
